Colorado Election Results

It is now about time to present the results of the Colorado elections. John Hickenlooper was elected Colorado Governor. Dan Maes had 11.1% of the vote, so the Republicans were spared the indignation of being a minor party. Tom Tancredo had 37% of the vote.

Michael Bennett won the US Senate race. Ken Buck felt he had won the race up until election night, but there was a change Halloween weekend that the polls were not able to pick up.

Finally, I had not learned who had won the Colorado US House district until this morning. Dianne DeGette (D) won. Of course this district is so Democratic that since I have been in Colorado, there have been only two people t o hold this seat: Degette and Pat Schroder.
