Colorado Election Results

OK, the election has been over for weeks, and I have not posted the results. In the Republican Governor's race, the Tea Party favorite, Dan Maes defeated Scott McInnes. McInnes spent a lot money, but could not over come the controversy in his campaign. However, Maes also has problems with a campaign fine against him, and Tom Tancredo is running as an independent for Govenor.

John Hickenlooper, the Denver Mayor has the Democratic nomination, and is just collecting backing at the moment.

On the Republican side of the U.S. Senate race, Ken Buck, the Tea Party favorite, won over Jane Norton. Mike Bennett defeated Andrew Romanoff, for the Democratic nomination. However, the two side in the Democratic race was so divisive, it will take a strong personality to put things back together again.
